HANDCRAFT
Weighing
The weight of hair is strictly regulated. Weigh it before manufacturing to ensure every single hair to be fully used.
Carding
Re-organize the brush hair and remove the surplus hair and impurities, making the brush smooth and neat. Then tidy up the hair again on the workbench.
Shaping
“Put and shape the h a i r into the shaping cup and gently tap on the cup to make the hair in a rounded shape. This is the most important step in the entire manufacturing process of making make-up brushes. It seems to be quite easy but requires years of skills and experience. Generally speaking ,this step normally is finished by master craftsman.
Wrapping
Upon completion of primary shaping, wrap the brush hair with threads to prevent the fibre from coming loose.
Inserting
Wrap the hair with plastic paper, insert into the ferule and remove the plastic paper.
Pressing the tube and measuring
Measure the width and thickness of the brush head to ensure that each brush has the same size.
Glue injection
Turn the brush head upside down and inject glue into it.This step requires technique because the hair can’t be glued down with less glue.
Inspecting
Manually inspect each brush head and remove the loosen hair, short hair and impurities.
The final step
“Glue the brush handle. Each makeup brush shall be inspected one by one every 20-30 minutes to prevent from deformation.
