Chindo Brushes come to Europe

For us at CHINDO BRUSHES, it was a great satisfaction and a great honour to take part as guests and exhibitors in the Innovation Day held on Thursday  November 8th in Crema (Cremona), a small northern Italian city which combines beautiful architecture and landscapes with a vibrant business community.

Our delegation, comprising our founder Mr Howard Kuang, our marketing manager Simon Liu and Mrs Cindy Phun, our international business developer, was particularly attracted by Crema’s location at the centre of a production cluster, now gaining international recognition, which covers the entire cosmetics production chain: the Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi, Crema (info here https://www.polocosmesi.com/)

During the packed schedule of the highly informative Innovation Day, the Polo Tecnologico Cosmesi introduced the large number of visitors in attendance to its potentials, its professionalism and its impressive margins for growth, job creation and business.

On our side, we in the Chindo delegation were able to make contact with many leading Italian make-up and beauty firms and introduce ourselves as manufacturers of high-end brushes: “proudly made in China” make-up brushes which are luxurious and extremely sophisticated objects, supported by impressive figures.

With the aid of MCI Brand Appeal, the internationally-oriented Italian agency which oversees and handles our communications, we have succeeded in disproving a myth that still lingers extensively in Europe: the belief that most Chinese exports involve large quantities of low-cost, low-quality products.

We have done this above all by offering ourselves as a business partner that provides a bridge between Italy and China, drawing on enviable knowledge of our country’s specific market and marketing.

During the speech by Simon Liu and Angelo Faravelli of MCI Brand Appeal to the fascinated audience in the packed Innovation Day hall, we made our position quite clear.

We hope that this initial contact with the Crema hub will bring fruitful results and lead to profitable business for both sides – but we will discuss this topic in greater depth in an upcoming post.

Now, back at home for the Cosmoprof exhibition in Shanghai, we can inform you that we have decided to take part in the Italian edition, to be held in Bologna next spring, from 14 to 17 March 2019, confident that this collaboration is only the start of a thrilling business adventure.
